A Certified Local Correctional Facility
Two cells and four beds - developed in the early 1970’s, the jail serves us well to this day. The ability to sentence up to one year on misdemeanors enables our officers to arrest and prosecute all crimes at a time when the county in unable to prosecute or hold misdemeanant offenders. We are grateful to our founding fathers for the insight that lead to the development of our criminal justice system. |
