Police Department Overview

 

The Junction City Police Department is unique in that it provides a full spectrum criminal justice system.  We are composed of police, corrections, dispatch services, probation, a municipal jail, municipal court, investigations, and basic patrol services.

 

Our volunteers include reserve officers, Senior Citizens on Patrol and a Community Emergency Response Team.

 

We believe in responding to all calls for service.  It is imperative during these times of increased criminal activity, that everyone reports all suspicious activity to the police department.  Together we can maintain the highest levels of safety and protection for our community.
